About us
Our approach
Secure Alarms provides security from historic Maryland homes, to the newest most technologically advanced homes. With your input and our expertise, we will craft a security design keeping in mind your lifestyle, concerns and risks.
Our experienced staff are masters in carefully concealing wires in walls to give the home the same protection as if the system was installed while it was under construction. And if you prefer to have your home protected without the use of wiring, we can protect your home by using wireless devices that use batteries that last 10 years.
If you are building or renovating a home, we can work with your contractor throughout the entire process. We can also protect your home during construction to help prevent loss of tools, building supplies, appliances and cabinetry
If you already have an alarm system, our qualified staff is trained in monitoring, servicing and maintaining your system even if we did not originally install it. We truly understand that this is your home and your security.

About owner
Craig started working in this industry shortly after graduating high school for a family member that was in the business. His career started by installing antennas and intercoms in multi-tenant buildings. Many of the systems he installed 40 years ago our company still services today.
While working as an installer Craig went to school at nights and on weekends. After many years he graduated with a degree from Catonsville community college. This knowledge helps with design, choosing the proper products for our customers and gives him a greater understanding of how most of the technology works on a day-to-day basis.
Craig is currently the president of the MD.B.F.A.A. (Maryland Burglar Fire Alarm Association). As president, he works on the laws and licensing that regulate the security and fire alarm industry as it relates to the state of Maryland. He also ensures that competition stays fair among dealers and that the consumer is protected, educated and safe. MD.B.F.A.A. also works on promoting false alarm reduction. As president of MD.B.F.A.A. Craig has worked on bills and spoken for and against various bills presented in Annapolis that were related to the industry.
Craig is a local and national board member of FARA (False Alarm Regulators Association). This organization is comprised of the police departments licensing divisions that regulate the alarm industry. Regulators work together to provide education and problem solving to reduce false alarms. As an active member, he consults with alarm dealers' views on subjects. Craig is a technical advisor when needed. FARA and MBFAA have worked collaboratively through the years on legislative issues of bills presented in Annapolis. During national FARA conventions and Craig has spoken on a number of topics to help educate the police department’s regulators.
In addition, Craig is the Vice president of N.E.S.A. (National Electronic Security Association). State associations come together in this association to monitor national laws that regulate the industry on a national level. We also support each other in our local legislation efforts and provide consumer education.
